First of all, when you get out, you come to immigration. Where your Esta/Visum is checked, you need to answer a few questions and take the fingerprints.
Then you have to get your suitcase and roll it over by the inch.
Then you can give up the suitcase. I mean, it’s a band in Charlotte right after the inch, where you just have to put it on. I’m not sure.
Then you just have to go to your departure gate.
3 hours should be enough, but if you notice that it will be time tight, you can turn to the people who are standing there on the queues. Otherwise, there are people everywhere in the United States that you can address and help you.
First time:
This is only about a landing and not an entry into the USA. For the destination itself, the first checkin pass, Visa and A are already checked.
To stop:
At a stop it is advisable to go to the gate where the further flight departs.
You can bridge the waiting time with a stroll around the departure gate or to read (book with take). Your pastry will be brought directly to the appropriate connection flight.
Very important: Stay in the airport otherwise the whole procedure like security control and so on goes off from the front and your connection flight should be gone.
As the destination is not known, it does not allow to say whether new security checks are coming.
At the destination itself, a new exact check of passport, visas and passports takes place during entry.
Since the United States does not have transit zones at their airports, it is always only with one official entry. Even at a stopover, everyone officially arrives and passes through the same procedure as a traveler who toures the USA for 90 days.

In the USA, you won’t get around the second control.
But in any case. Even on domestic flight.
Yes, according to the entry requirements of the destination country.
How long do you mean all these checks? I’m on my journey to New York and have only one hour and 20 minutes between stop
you have never flew over the USA, because the answer is kpl. wrong
Not by but several times in the USA and the next is already booked …g
Then take care of where you have to go through the “Immigration” and whether there is other way through the airport (for example, for transit).
You won’t find anyone. International flights, all of them will be made. Everyone travels and if this is done, it goes on.
I think that’s exactly the time you need. I’d expect at least one hour.
If you have a German passport, you need an ESTA. You need to apply for this online beforehand. Costs a few dollars.
You’re going to the USA, passport control. Have you booked contiguous flights and the 2. You can take a board card back for security control and take it out again.
I’m afraid it’s completely wrong. After the first entry to the USA, the baggage is to be picked up from the band, the banderole / label remains there. Then you go through the inch. Then you put the luggage back on a band “connecting flights” and then follow the signs of Connecring Flights. That’s it!
