Zwift questions upon questions?

Hi:)

I'm relatively new to the Zwift game and have a few questions.

Why do you get a "thumbs up" on Zwift? Do you get it when you pedal at the exact wattage required during a workout? And what do I get from a thumbs up?

Are the stated calories burned correct? I rode 53 km today (1:30, average 170 watts). According to Zwift, I burned 900 kcal, but my Garmin shows me 370 kcal (which is more than 50% less). Which one is correct? Garmin calculates based on heart rate, and Zwift calculates based on wattage/weight (if I'm not mistaken), since I have a relatively low heart rate (even under stress, the significant deviation might be due to that? But which should I rely on more?)

And why do some people have such glowing bikes? 😅Do you have to buy it or complete a special quest?

And do you prefer "workouts" or just the route? Can you recommend anything?

Thanks in advance : ) Leonie

If you have to question a ” thumb high”, then m.E. can’t vote or is at least not targeted.

I guess it’s up to the device that you can’t interpret the “Daumen Hoch”.

If I use the (real) racing bike and up, after 1869 meters of altitude, cycling fans stand on the street and lift the “Daumen Hoch” then you notice how this fires you.

“m. E.” means “my opinion” / “my opinion”.

With the sentence I express my amazement, because you do not know this gesture 👍 as confirmation or recognition, that is surprising.

If a device does this, it does it even at a low power to prep you with a great device and thus deliver great performance.

This is what manufacturers / sellers do so that they can sell many devices.

If you deliver the same performance as on your Zwift, next to me on the road, with a real racing bike, you look old – then I would have to do this instead of the device 👎.

That would not be fair, I do not, but give you advice on how to get a 👍 from me soon.
