Dwarf hamster food?

Hello!🤗 I'll probably be getting a dwarf hamster soon, so I wanted to find out more about the food here. I've read a few different things online… Does a dwarf hamster get a tablespoon of food or a teaspoon of food per day? Can you buy good food from Futterparadies, and is JR Farm's food suitable? You're supposed to feed things like mealworms, herbs, and vegetables. How much vegetables should a dwarf hamster get, and does it get fresh vegetables every day? Is it okay to feed "just" a spoonful of vegetables? Is a small piece of cucumber and fennel suitable every day? Are dry/dead mealworms sufficient as a protein source? Best, Sophia110🐹

I recommend 1 teaspoon, then look at how much the hamster is hamstering and give it a little more, depending on that.

The JR Farm feed should not be bad, yet I definitely recommend the feed of feed crows or feed paradise. You need to see what’s better for you, I’m more of the fan of food crowsing. If you order something more, the shipping costs are also worth it! The best way to get employment food like piston and a flower mix or something.

In a balanced feed mixture everything is actually in it, otherwise only water and fresh food is necessary. (pills, flowers, kernels etc. If not necessary, your hamster will make happy) I recommend giving fresh food every 2 days in a quantity that it is fed up in 1 day. If the hamster doesn’t make it, he’ll have 1 day to get new. I’ve never been a moldy fresh food in the feed chamber.

So best 3 different vegetables, but maybe cut the piece as big as a fingertip for a dwarf. If you don’t have 3 fresh foods, then you’re less ok, 3 or more, but you’d be great. Fresh food lists are also available on the Internet. :

Flourworms best give 2-3 pieces a week. If your hamster is growing or pregnant, then something more.

All these are my personal recommendations.

At the beginning you feed 1-2 teaspoons into a bowl (later you can sprinkle it in the cradle). You see how much is eaten.

I order only for my hamster at the food paradise and feed crowsing.

You should give fresh food slowly at the beginning, otherwise you risk diarrhea. Every couple of days a little bit, then less grain seeds, should be okay.

Hey,

depends on what it is for a hamster when it is a small thinner that moves a lot in the seam then the calm can get more.

There is good food in animal trade.

the hamster should get a dried worm 1-2 times a week.

Best buy one where no fruit is in it. There’s more grains in there. It’s best in a fresco. LG Animal80

The feed from animal trade is not balanced and not good. Not too much of Fressnapf. Veterinaries are not food specialists and unfortunately often have no idea about this topic (example: veterinarians sell for cats Royal Canin, which does not have better ingredients than Whiskas).

That can’t have been a good veterinarian… I do not know a feed which is to be balanced out of animal trade :/

Even a vet once recommended us.
