second rabies vaccination after ten days?
Hello,
According to the vaccination schedule, the second rabies vaccination should be administered at least seven days later. Is it a problem if I exceed this time limit by three days and don't receive the second dose until the tenth day?
You can just continue if you can do it again to go to the doctor. The fact that something has come apart now because of the holidays should not cause you to start from the front. The staff in the doctor’s office will know this more closely and will then put the third vaccination to fit from the date.
Apparently, you use a vaccination scheme that should not be too slow (where you leave a lot of time until the vaccination works)
In some high-speed vaccination schemes, however, adherence to the days is important insofar as otherwise the date of the last vaccination would be too long and you would not have built up any immune protection for your trip.
As you have probably heard from the Corona time, there are doctors, specialists, vaccination specialists and many lay people who still stay lay, even if they pretend to know what. Tollwut is an indication vaccination, knowing about vaccination specialists (which are almost only dealing with vaccinations), or possibly still official physicians, maybe veterinarians….
Your doctor will answer that. And you should keep these dates… rabies can end deadly.
