Two or three guitars?
Hey everyone
I've started a band. We're pretty much complete, but now a good friend of mine has joined and wants to be the third guitarist. Does a third guitar make sense, or not? We play rock and heavy metal, if that's an influence.
Thanks in advance!
Best regards
Skar V.
Why not?
There are also YouTube so many videos in which Clapton with Neil Young, Bob Dillen, Jeff Beck, George Harrison, one there is even where Keith Richards Bass and Lennon and Clapton guitar play.
Every band has to find their own sound, why not with a soloist!
Iron Maiden greets 😂
If the songs are arranged accordingly (do you write yourself?) Go three, too. Even if it is not really common
ahah is true we actually play XD. But yes we write ourselves. Thank you
I also find the two gitarren to make most sense, especially with this genre.
OK super, thanks
Most of the songs should be enough. That’s all I’d consider if something really is missing. Why don’t you ask your friend if he wants to play bass, that’s learned in no time when you play guitar.
You want him to play bass if he wants to get into the band. 3 guitars at rock are exaggerated.
3 guitars are quite unnecessary, I would look for a bass if you don’t have one yet
Don’t have one yet, but it’s 🙂
Every guitarist can play bass. Ask the third
Absolutely! You finally have time to…😂 🤣
I’m also guitarist, but I’ve played a lot of bass and that’s very much fun when there’s a good drummer.
We once had a bassist from African descent, who could just play six tones, the one who, and our drummer, made a groove together, which has not yet come to any better. Unfortunately, he’s been picked up at the US Army and picked up by the MP, since I’ve never seen him. Long time ago…
And looking cool is the most important.
That’s not quite true, just because he knows where the sounds are and can play them, he’s not a bassist for a long time, because many guitarists mean playing with the Bass Sologitarre and can’t hold back, as if they were missing something. To be good at the bass, you have to learn how to run properly. A bassist knows what I mean…
