Wait two months for an appointment for a broken foot?
I injured my foot about three weeks ago. I went to the orthopedist, was sent for an MRI, and had to wait another week for my appointment with the orthopedist. He looked at the results and told me I should see a foot specialist because the fracture had tilted, meaning it would heal crookedly. Of course, I've now called the two specialists he recommended, and the appointments aren't until the end of October, so more than two months from now. I'm really worried about my foot, and of course, I also have pain when I walk.
Would it be possible to go to the hospital in such a case? I saw that they also have an open consultation for recent injuries, but it's not that recent, and I don't want to be yelled at.
