Zustellungsankündigung + Benachrichtigung der Sendung von DPD erhalten, ohne Paket zu erwarten?
Hallo zusammen, heute Vormittag erhielt ich eine Mail mit der Mitteilung, dass mein DPD Paket auf dem Weg zu mir wäre. Ich habe aber kein Paket erwartet und mir deshalb zunächst auch nichts dabei gedacht, da ich ständig solche Spam Mails bekommen. Ca. eine Stunde später erhielt ich jedoch eine weitere Mail mit der Meldung, dass mein Paket am Wunschort abgestellt worden wäre. Da bin ich dann doch misstrauisch geworden.
Die Absende-Adresse “noreply@service.dpd.de” schien gemäß kurzer Google Recherche legitim zu sein, daher hab ich den Link in der Mail dann doch mal angeklickt und wurde prompt aufgefordert, meine Postleitzahl zur Verifikation einzugeben. Ist zur Einsicht eines detailierten Sendeverlaufs ja auch nicht ungewöhnlich. Jedoch wurde meine Postleitzahl als falsch erkannt.
Was soll mir das jetzt sagen, bzw. muss ich mir Sorgen machen?

I would definitely call and ask DPD.
If someone had incorrectly entered his mail address at an online shop, you would have to have received an order confirmation from this shop or so (possibly considered a spam?).
There are also cases where online ordering is ordered on account of strangers. It’s strange that you got the mail from DPD…
So if any order confirmations or invoices come in the future, I would keep this in mind.
I wouldn’t worry about it first, and I’m not gonna get anything.
Probably there’s a little mistake in there somewhere and everything’s half as wild.
I have an email service@dpd.de written and briefly explained the facts. According to DPD FAQ, this is the desired procedure with supposed fraud emails. Let’s see if somebody gets in.

If you didn’t order anything, you shouldn’t act with such mails.
Look at the full header of the mail.
Like I said. Sending the mail is “noreply@service.dpd.de”. According to Google search, this is an official mail from DPD. Looks real for the first time in detail.
