In most cases a good mineral feed is sufficient as an additive.

Your apples and carrots are too much for these horses.

hay and the as low as possible (so well mowed grass) little straw and very little grass is for which a must to maintain it healthy. With us there are two Welsh ponies on wood scatter, with handy straw and 5 times a day hay in the narrow mesh net, which are beautifully slim in body construction and therefore very healthy. In the case of coupling, they may be on the lean pastures, otherwise they are in the big paddock.

Shettys get 1.5kg hay per 100kg normal weight per day, which are between 2 and 3 kg hay per day depending on the size. To this end, a mineral feed adapted to the needs and nothing else! Pasture only a few hours a day and then only with fress brake and only when they are normal weighty, with overweight shettys there is increased cough danger!!!

Shettys need absolutely nothing except qualitatively good hay and, if necessary, an adapted mineral food. This will cover their needs 1A and has absolutely nothing to do with diet.

I’d be careful with Coupling. Better leave on the grass for hours or if you want to leave her for longer, maybe. Get fress brakes.

It is similar to the DRP – good hay and MiFu are also enough.

That’s okay. But please, as I said, do not start to stuff anything else in muesli, etc.

Why do you want to give a fat pony? That would only be necessary if it really had to work. What Shetty does that? I think the least. hay (defect) is completely sufficient. I’d be careful with grass. Really pasture should have Shettys for a short time. An outlet without juicy grass would be advisable.

Mineral food may be useful. It depends on how rich your hay is and whether the ponies lack something.
Every second day a little move is no work for a pony. Regular carriage would be work, but then they wouldn’t be thick.

Shetty a is enough for hay and mineral feed.
