The baking paper will not burn at 180 degrees.

It is designed to keep oven temperatures.

Especially as a separating agent between sheet metal/shape and doughling.

If you use the paper improperly, choose too high a baking temperature, the baking paper could at best be constricted, become a little brown.

So don’t panic.

I’ve often had baking paper in the oven at these temperatures.

A single time (not so ever since) has begun to burn baking paper with me because it touched the back of the oven wall. But it burns so quickly that there is no danger for the apartment and not for the oven! The oven did not bear any damage.

That’s what the packaging should tell you if it’s supposed to be in the oven.

Looks more like a cardboard plate that was grilled out of the production process with the snail.
