Too high consumption?

I have a Skoda Fabia 3 from 2008 1.2 60 HP

Although I do a lot of short trips, I also do a lot of balancing trips where I drive longer distances.

I would now get around 500 km up to a maximum of 550 with a full tank of fuel (reserve included).

You don’t expect that. Your tank size is irrelevant.

You fill the car and reset the kilometer counter.

Then you drive…

Then you refuel and the amount you’ve done through the kilometers you’ve traveled.

_________________________________________________________________

Example: 50 liters danced and 500km driven.

50L / 500km * 100km = 10L/100km

_________________________________________________________________

Example 2: 43.56 litres and 562km.

43,56L / 562km * 100km = 7,75L/100km

_________________________________________________________________

And if you want to know for a long time, run a tank book.

in Example 2, however, an L comes behind the 7,75

So believe doesn’t mean know. I’ve got a polo and there’s 35 liters in.

If I only drive from the apartment 3 km to work, then there is still a traffic jam, then the consumption goes up to 100 km to 38 litres because you don’t get from the spot.

If Saturday night all are at home and I drive to the city to Stuttgart to the club or to the cinema, the streets are free no traffic jam no red lights then I also consume less than 4 liters on 100 km or 4.5 liters of gasoline.

My polo is new and your car is old. My old Fiesta has also consumed quite a lot of 7 to 8 liters since minimum to 100 km short distance.

My car has a 65 liter tank and that’s a van I don’t think that such a small car like this big j tank frankly said.

These are 9 liters, you seem to give some gas

When you first turn up and then in a high gear at a little speed give proper gas, your consumption goes through the ceiling because the engine does not get enough air at the moment.

It is also possible that the engine is completely coked when it is always driven. What would explain the high consumption.

So such a small car never has such a big tank that it is incredibly much for a small car. My photo has 35 liters and my old fiesta had 38. These are both cars in the same size.

It really has 45 L.

For example, if the motor gets too much short distance and speeds that are too little higher, this can result in soot and combustion residues being deposited in your motor.

Your engine has arterial scaling.

The result is then less performance and more consumption. But this can only be determined by a person skilled in the art. He’ll turn the spark plugs out. If these are full of soot, the motor is most likely coked.

Possibly, a brake caliper hangs – usually back. That’s what a skilled person finds out. Lifting platform – wheels turn by hand or drive a good piece and see if the discs get hot at the back.

Huhu,

Comes strong on your driving skills, tires, track conditions, weather etc. Write up the kilometers, and we’ll have a lot of liters you’re filling, so it’s best to get used.

Consumption seems to be quite high.

I have a Golf 7 125 hp and I usually travel around the 750 kilometers (50 litres of tank) if I only drive long distance significantly.

Thus, the average of (short distances) is about 6.7 litres.
