Zolpidem is a drug from the group of Z-Drugs, which is approved for short-term treatment of severe sleep disorders. It is offered in the form of tablets with immediate and in the form of tablets with controlled release of active compound. Non-retarded preparations (which are usually used) are primarily intended as sleep aid. Here more to Zolpidem.

Lunivia contains the active ingredient eszopiclon, i.e. the active ingredient of Zopiclon. Eszopiclon is also a medicament from the group of Z-drugs which is used for short-term treatment of severe sleep disorders. It has a longer half-life and duration of action as a retarded Zopiclon and therefore serves primarily as a sleeping agent. Here more to Eszopiclon or Zopiclon.

All Z-drugs (i.e. Zolpidem and Eszopiclon) depend on too frequent use, which is why the treatment time is generally limited to 10 days. The action of Z-Drugs occurs after about 10-15 minutes.

Mirtazapine is a tetracyclic antidepressant which is exclusively permitted for the treatment of depression. However, due to its highly slackening effect, it is frequently also used in off-label use (application without official approval of the pharmaceutical authority) in sleep disorders. The sleek effect of Mirtzapin occurs after about 1 hour. Due to the relatively long half-life (not must) a residual fatigue can still exist next morning. The advantage of Mirtazapin is that it does not depend. The disadvantage is the often stronger side effects than Z-Drugs. Here more to Mirtazapin.

In the case of a combined intake, the slackening effect of both drugs can increase. However, dangerous interactions are not known.
