Zinc poisoning in rabbits?

Hello,

I have a question regarding rabbits and galvanized awning wire.

I ordered this wire to make my outdoor enclosure safe against burglars:

https://www.amazon.de/dp/B00NJRXH7Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_D40F0WN5MPFG9PHJM7HR?psc=1

However, this wire is galvanized, and now I'm wondering how dangerous something like that is for rabbits? Does anyone have experience with this or know how I could protect the rabbits from it in an emergency? I couldn't find a stainless steel wire, and it would cost me a lot of money :/

This is not dangerous at all, which it is galvanized, is even recommended:

galvanized (so that it lasts, otherwise it has to be replaced after 1-2 years because it is no longer safe by rust), galvanically galvanized wire does not last as long as galvanized wire, the latter is recommended for non-covered areas.

I asked myself the same question and then decided for green painted wire. Of course I don’t know how dangerous the green paint is. And in the end, it doesn’t seem to be so important that the clever cocks don’t snap around (why should they be too).
