Roommate snores extremely loudly, what should I do?

I'm currently in the hospital, and both last night and now, I've had the problem of my roommate snoring loudly (and by loud, I mean really loud, like a truck engine was running next to me). On top of that, I have misophonia (a sensitivity to noise). It's a very uncomfortable situation, and even earplugs don't help. I always have to put in earbuds and play loud noises to sleep, and I'm afraid it will damage my hearing in the long run.
