Witness questionnaire: I didn't drive but don't want to name anyone and pay the fine?

I have a question

I also received this letter as the owner and provided the questionnaire as a witness! A 460 euro fine, 2 points, and a one-month driving ban in Germany, but I live in Switzerland with a Swiss driver's license, so how does that apply?

Now it is the case that it was my ex-fiancé with whom I am no longer in contact and would like to mention his name in any form

So I admit the offense and tick that I wasn't driving?

How can I settle this to my detriment? I want to pay the fine. The logbook is fine, but because of my current situation, communication or naming is much worse for me than the fine.

Can anyone help??

You can’t at the same time be an offence Enter and not have been driving! Either, right! Since you have not received a hearing sheet, but a witness questionnaire, the authority is already clear (by matching the passport), that you not the driver. So you can’t admit anything.

You can now either the true driver, or You can’t remember who led the vehicle at that time. You don’t have more possibilities! And you can only make this decision!

Then just throw the letter away. There will be no visit from Bavaria! But purely theoretically, Bayern could request assistance in Switzerland, but I think that is unlikely. And even then you still have all the options open.

At the level of repentance, it could be a crime that must also be pursued. The crime scene was Germany?

If they have a driver’s image, which doesn’t fit the holder, they can make a home visit by way of help. It’s about something!

You don’t have a right of refusal. Seriously, you’ll be questioned in court. Whoever pays the penalty won’t care. Points and driving ban probably not.

Of course, I don’t know if you go that far. Nobody knows.

What’s a witness question? I only know a hearing sheet and there’s also the photo showing the driver. At the level of the fine and the imposed penalty, this is no longer an offence. Is your ex German? If so, then his identity is found by image matching. If he’s Swiss, you can get it. The Swiss authorities are very involuntary towards the Germans.

The picture is taken again and a man can be seen on it. Somehow, it’s a bit unbelievable if you act as a driver.
You should specify it

Or don’t stop. It is a free choice to remember who drove a vehicle at a certain time!

Nevertheless, a witness has a duty of testimony and truth.

She could also revive the engagement. Then she would have a right of refusal.

That’s right. But not every witness must remember everything.
