Blood draw slip asking about period?

Hey,

I have an appointment tomorrow to have a blood test done to check for an arteriosclerosis or whatever it's called. It's also called hemophilia. Anyway, I'm 12 and my mum filled out the form. The first question was whether my period lasts for more or less than 5 days and whether I bleed a lot or a little. The thing is, I've had my period three times already and my mum knows that too, but she still checked that I haven't had my period yet. Do you have any idea why and is it bad if the information is wrong? The next questions were whether I was pregnant during the first trimester, had a miscarriage, etc. My next question is why they need the period information for that? And then it said whether I had been on a light diet at the gynaecologist's. Why do they ask things like that? What is it important for?

Maybe your mother thinks that women’s things are not important to the general practitioner. That’s not true. If a bleeder (these are usually men) is a woman and has her period, this can also bleed more strongly than normal.

However, one should pay attention to the age of the lady 🙂 in so young years it is irrelevant for the period

It is important to know if you have a period where you lose too much blood.

There has even been a girl from Australia on TV because her mother with her desperately ran from doctor to doctor. You didn’t know what she had.

And all this could happen because it was too embarrassing to talk about their period. As it turned out, she just didn’t stop bleeding.

Hey, this isn’t bad. Since you specified that you are 12 this is not so relevant. In the young and early years of the period, this varies from strength to weakness.

in case of somewhat older ones, a coagulation disorder may have effects on the strength of the period.

if you’ve been to Gyn before you’re asked for evtl. Findings to ask.
