Today I got these rubber bands that you attach to your braces. Can you just not use them, or are they important? I'm asking because they're really annoying.

in a brace, everything has meaning and if you refuse to cooperate, you will not be able to successfully take the current treatment step behind you. And I’m guessing you’d like to get rid of the braces sometime.
Each change of sheets first annoys and so is it also with the Elastics. After a few days, everything has come in and belongs to it. All of them have survived.

They are, unfortunately, important, even if they are illegitimately hurt. But they are used to get the necessary tension that it needs. Sure you can leave them away but I wouldn’t recommend it, after that you only have more theater and the time with your braces will take longer. It was 20 years ago, but I remember well. 😉
