Braces, wire bent what to do?
Hello,
My wire slipped outward while I was eating (as in the picture), and when I tried to put it back on my bracket on my molar, it snapped. Now my question is whether this is urgent or not. I already have an appointment. But on July 12, 2024
Hello Burgerking,
the last tooth is not guided and the bend (on the picture this is not so dramatic, but the bend can also lie differently) can exert force on the penultimate tooth and move it. It shouldn’t be.
Call your pine orthodontist, he’ll fix it.
Good luck!

Hey, I mean, with “knick” that the wire has broken a bit. I’m sorry if I didn’t really express myself.
What do you mean “a little broken off”? Did he break or not?
That the bow breaks off is extremely unlikely. There’s a lot more likely he’s completely moved.
Look, the wire has moved to the outside. This means that the wire should normally remain inside the bracket, but it has slipped outwards. When I wanted to put the wire back in the bracket, a piece of wire is broken off
Yes, that should fit if it doesn’t bother you and especially, then that’s enough
Only the dentist helps, only he can align the tooth clamp again.

Is it very urgent? An appointment is on 12.07.24 I should wait for it or is it very urgent that the appointment should be earlier
I’m looking at it as an emergency, you should get an appointment urgently. Because you don’t come to rest and you’re always on the train at the Fummel. LG by Manfred
