Swallowed toothbrush tablets?

Four days ago I bought toothpaste tablets from DM for when I'm out and about. I thought that you could chew them and then swallow them because they were tablets. But now I've heard that you have to spit them out after use. I've taken a total of 10 tablets in the last few days. Could this harm me or is it safe?

You survive that too. My father survived it after his common siblings, who could see very badly as a child, gave him this fine ragbon. 😁
