Dental fillings co-payment?

Hi, I need 13 fillings for my teeth (plastic). The dentist's estimate says

1900 euros

-500 Euro health insurance subsidy

Behind the cost estimate is a contract that actually agrees to do it. There's nothing there about the minus 500 euros.

My questions about this:

  1. Why is there no mention of the 500 euros in the contract?
  2. I have to pay between 120 and 180 euros per tooth. Is that a lot, a little, or average?

Thanks

I find 120 to 180€ extremely much. Let another dentist make an estimate.

Why is the contract nothing more of the 500 euros

Ask the ZA, not us. I don’t know how this contract is formulated.

I have to pay between 120 and 180 euros per tooth. Is that much, little or average?

I can’t answer that either. The costs consist of the size of the filling, the degree of difficulty and the rate of increase. If the increase rate exceeds the 2,3, a statement of reasons must be given on the estimate. Small fillings are certainly not listed on the estimate.

Good fillings are available for about 80 € per piece, Appears me with 1900 € so very covered.

You can only confirm the cash grant, not the dentist.

Of course, it was quite cheap with the filling taken over by the cash register

I don’t know how the prices are in DE, but in Switzerland I paid CHF 1000.- for three very small fillings. And we don’t have any additional insurance.

You should ask your dentist.
