Dental treatment How should I proceed?

Hello everyone

I haven't been to the dentist in years (due to anxiety). It's now noticeable. I have several cavities (5-7), and I've had two more filled. It doesn't hurt, but I should get them filled.

But it's very difficult financially. In Switzerland, health insurance doesn't cover it. What's the best way to approach this? I have an appointment for general dental hygiene in August, and we'll have an x-ray taken. Should I just treat the cavities that need it most first? And then the rest gradually?

I know it's my own fault. I'm aware of that.

Talk to the dentist and ask for advice. That would be the simplest.

My son also had this, 5 holes, one only made 3 and 1 month later three again, he also paid in 3 rates for the first time, the others only after that, but then complete and at the same time at the CSS a denture completed

Nobody does that, you have to ask him. He wants to help you, that’s why he’s become a doctor and he wants to have money for this help, what you give him, but not for a time, but in advice, that’s why you’ll come to him next time, because he’s good and helped you.

Of course, why not, every month 100 SFr, then you are first provided and as long as you pay on time and pay completely, the doctor is also satisfied with it. I had to do with the glasses with 1000 sfr

He’s the first step for improvement.

Do professional dental cleaning 50-100 SFr (depending on doctor), then next month or as the money is enough, the worst as first, then the other.

Remember, large holes are filled with plastic 3 layers, the triple price is a small hole, so 3 small holes are also possible.
