Zahnärtzliche Zweitmeinung einholen?
War gestern beim Zahnarzt da ich bei ein zuvor von Karies reparierten Zahn Schmerzen habe. Der Zahnarzt selbst hat nur paar mal mit Kälte mein Schmerzemfpinden getestet währendessen er etwas am Zahnhals gemacht (nicht gebohrt oder so) und hat mir daraufhin die Elmex Repair & Prevent empfohlen zu kaufen und gesagt dass es vom offenem Zahnhals kommen könnte, aber auch von einer Zahnwurzelentzündung dann müsste man eine Wurzelbehandlung machen. Nun hab ich aber immernoch durchgehende Schmerzen und krieg die Zahnpasta auch erst morgen. Dazu bin ich etwas skeptisch ob die Zahnpasta wirklich solche pochende Schmerzen wegbekommt.
Sollte ich eine zweite Meinung bei einem anderen Zahnarzt einholen und gegebenfalls etwas machen lassen?

You are rightly sceptical. Poaching toothaches are always a sign of inflammation. The tooth needs a root canal treatment. If possible go to the ZA today. Best for a endodontologsThis is a ZA specialized in root canal treatments.

Against the acute pain sensation, I would take a tablet, then use the toothpaste for a few days. If it should not be better then first consult the previous dentist again.

To do this, I am somewhat skeptical if the toothpaste really gets rid of such tingling pain.
You’re quite sceptical. Do not push the root treatment to the long bank. Only this will free you from pain.
If you’re insecure, stop it.
I would first try to follow the advice of the dentist and only then look for a second opinion (if it didn’t work).

Why a new dentist… don’t wait and if it doesn’t get better or you’re skeptical, just tell him. He’s gonna do something. He’ll get money for it. I don’t understand why you always have to make this lazy “I’m going to someone else” just because your own doctor wanted to do something good and first see if you can solve the problem non-invasively…Why can’t you have any questions or aren’t sure is just open your mouth in front of the ZA and give your thoughts🤷🏽Patients have to work with their doctor already.
