Smaller amounts – also restaurant visits or taxi rides – I basically pay cash… this is also easier with the tip.

However, I pay for purchases and hotel nights with map.

99% bar. With map really only in absolute exceptional cases. And otherwise everything in cash, as I immediately see how much money I still have available for the week from my budget.

All with map, what I can pay with map.

Payment with card has the following advantages:

  • You save the handling with small money.
  • Cards usually remain in the hands of the owner and go through less hands than cash and are therefore less burdened with germs.
  • Payment goes much faster via NFC and you save time.
  • Better overview of the expenditures as you can view the sales details in the app at any time
  • I can simply search my sales digitally next year as a card user if I need certain documents for the tax return, for example.

Primary digital, i.e. smartphone or card. Cash annoys me and I try to avoid it
