YouTube wählt immer schlechte Qualität?
Hey,
Ich habe in den YouTube Einstellungen eingestellt, dass bei Wlan Verbindung immer “Höhere Bildqualität” gewählt werden soll, was die höchste Stufe ist. Leider wählt YouTube fast immer 720p aus, obwohl es die Videos auch in 1080p oder 4k gibt, wofür mein Internet auch mehr als schnell genug ist, so dass ich dann manuell die höchste Qualität auswählen muss.
Gibt es die Möglichkeit einzustellen, dass YouTube immer automatisch die höchste verfügbare Qualität auswählt? 720p sehen einfach nicht gut aus am Tablet und haben in meinem Augen nichts bei “Höhere Bildqualität” zu suchen.

Unfortunately no. In the past, there was an option with which you have always received the highest possible resolution, which is no longer possible (for cost reasons).
As far as I know, a video under Android is always reproduced with a maximum of 720p, even if you choose “automatic (recommended)”.
This is one of the reasons why I don’t watch YouTube videos on the phone (especially because of the small screen). 😅
You have to manually raise it. I don’t understand why they removed this feature.
