XX-Large CPU?

This is a typical case of “some product data wildly compiled and badly translated”. It’s a reason why I’m not buying such things at Amazon. The product pages are either automated or cobbled by someone who has no idea and is not paid well enough.

However, I find it almost amusing again, with the stupid translations on the page:

CPU core: 8, # thread: 16, base clock: 3.8 GHz

So if you want to screw the processor to the wall as a “basic clock”, he has 16 “winds”. The term is base clock (base clock) and threads (in the sense of process string).

There are also useful information such as:

1 lithium-ion batteries required.

Total nonsense.

Language: English

If you want to talk to your processor.

Country of origin:China

Even if this looks different from Chinese politics, these processors are made in Taiwan.

But does the processor have at least good speakers?

And the “XX-Large” in the product name is therefore only one of many, insane and incorrectly entered information. Just like the “black” in the title. If then the processor is silver nickel-plated, but the color is really not decisive here.

But you can safely ignore them, seems to be a normal 5800X. However, when delivery is checked directly, I often see that the wrong product is delivered at Amazon.

If I’m looking for hardware, I like to use Geizhals, and then I often do it at Mindfactory, which often have better prices than Amazon and usually carefully maintained product pages with correct technical data.

The shipping costs at Mindfactory are often a little more expensive, but from 150€ on an order between 0 and 6:00 the shipping costs are dispensed with (sounds funny, but is so. As I said, I often ordered there, one of the best hardware stores).
