Enlarge xUbuntu system partition?
Hello
I have xUbuntu installed on my laptop alongside Windows.
But now I only have 6 GB free in Linux.
I now have 200gb unallocated and would like to attach it to my Linux partition.
I've already tried it with geparted and always got this message:
You have to give the “w” as “writeable” (describable) option when hanging (as you do). If this is done via the /etc/fstab (as usual under Linux), then make sure that the “rw” (read-write) is in any case in the field for the Mount Options or that the “rw” option comes along via the “defaults” option.
can you please give me a guide so I understand this
No, I can’t, because your description doesn’t show what you did exactly. That would be pure glass ball reading if I wanted to answer here and I won’t give instructions and then let me say that that’s why your system is in the A… The description of your action doesn’t tell me what you’ve done so far, where you exactly stand what you’ve done and where you took the 200 GB, only the error message is clear: there is no write permission on a suspended (mounted) file system.
