If you need Allrad, then yes.

I’ve got a little one and with dry driving, I’ve got no problem with traction. In case of a wet road, I’ll drive adjusted anyway. If we have snow, I’ll go anywhere.

Depending on the area, it makes sense.

Otherwise you have at least as much disadvantages as advantages. More weight, more consumption, more power loss and need to pay more attention because the distributor gear reacts toxicly to many changes in the chassis, the track and the rolling circumferences.

We have in our 4 Gran Coupe xDrive. Makes inconspicuous exactly what it should:

–> Traction in bad road conditions

Apart from the fact that the vehicle with xDrive is slightly higher and I don’t think it’s so great, I can’t report anything negative. The next everyday vehicle is definitely bought again with Allrad.

These “green” caravans” a la SUV let us look outside, because they only see big city asphalt
