Root resection?

Hello, has anyone of you had a root canal resection? If so, how did the procedure go? Did it hurt? Can you go back to work afterward or not? And most importantly, could the tooth be saved, or did it have to be extracted?

But I don't mean root canal treatment.

Thank you

Hello, had any of you already made a root tip resection?

Yes last year.

If so, how did the treatment expire, did it hurt?

First there was a consultation in which the risks of the OP were explained and then an appointment was made for the intervention.

I didn’t notice anything except the anesthesia. But as soon as the anesthesia leaves, you will notice this and it also swells, which is why you have to cool the place for 3 days. The Nervigst was that one should speak as little as possible at this time so that not so many bacteria can get to the wound. In addition, you can only take soft meals. For 3 days, I fed myself with drinking meals (Y-Food).

Can you go to work or not?

No. First of all, you’re still under the anesthesia and then you’ll get pain later. These can be treated with painkillers, but pass. I was sick after surgery for three days.

And the most important thing, could the tooth be saved or did it have to be pulled?

Yes, he and I had no toothaches with the tooth.

Only my bank account is still in pain today.

But I’m privately insured. That means I have to pay for it first and then I can repeat the money from health insurance.

But if I don’t get anything, I’ll get a contribution refund, which was higher in the case, which is why I didn’t submit anything and therefore ultimately had to pay the “pass” itself.

No, the doctor did this to me.

The treatment did not hurt, but he gave many syringes. He said that if it hurts, I should just lift my hand, then he’ll be stubborn.

Question 2: I believe that you can be written ill, but it is not mandatory. So the pain is unbearable, it’s just stupid because you’re supposed to gum or rinse every few hours. That the crap doesn’t ignite.

3. This is done so that the tooth is saved, but the same is not as if the gum is still there, so it is considered from the protection of the tooth.

What surprised me was that it takes a very long time before that is completely cured. At least he said that.
