Würdet ihr einen erstmals angebotenen (neuen) Studiengang empfehlen?
Hallo, ich interessiere mich sehr für den Bereich Psychologie. Ich bin jetzt auf einen neuen Studiengang aufmerksam geworden, der an einer FH ist und auch mehr Praxisbezug hat (in diesem Sinne einen direkten Schwerpunkt =>angewandt).
“Problem” ist, dass dieser Studiengang neu ist, er startet also erst dieses Wintersemester 24/25. Es gibt also noch keine Erfahrungswerte, man weiß noch nicht ganz wie das mit dem Organisatorischen läuft usw.
An sich sagen mir die einzelnen Module sehr zu. Ich möchte aber nicht als “Versuchskaninchen” enden. Hat jemand von euch Erfahrung mit einem “neuen Studiengang”, also einem der erstmals angeboten wird?
(Vielleicht wichtig zu wissen: da man in Psychologie in der Regel einen Bachelor und einen Master braucht, werden die Inhalte die quasi sonst erst beim Schwerpunkt im Master dran sind, wenn man sich für den Bereich entscheidet, in diesen Bachelor gepackt. Zusätzlich gibt es noch Projektmanagement-Module etc. Es ist jetzt also nicht so, als würde da etwas zu 100% Neues konzipiert werden. Aber eben im Bachelor gab es sowas noch nicht wirklich mit direkter Spezialisierung und gleichzeitig Grundlagen.)

This depends on factors that are difficult to judge from the outside: are there already courses at this university, from which experienced teachers are also taught in the new course of study? How thick is the personal blanket in the course of study, are all places occupied or are the professions and employees required for higher semesters only reoccupied during the course of their studies?
Basically, the course is naturally accredited, otherwise he could not go to the start. And the accreditation also reviews the personal equipment and the general studyability.
Experience shows, however, that there are many new courses here and there, as both the teachers and the administration (e.g. in the subject of examination regulations) still lack empirical values and the staff ceiling is very scarcely calculated.
However, I would not, in principle, advise on studying in such a course of studies, since on the other hand all those involved should be enthusiastic and accommodating.
Especially through the bachelor’s degree, there were often inflationary many “new” courses, where only 1-2 compulsory lectures were different than in a course of study that has been there for a long time. That sounds a bit for me. I.e. with the “single blocks” have the already experience, there are old exams, etc. only the process is probably somewhat different in “deinem” study course.
