It is quite a difference whether Islam is raised to a country, or in a Christian-practiced country attempts to prevail. As a non-Muslim you have little to do with religion in the Emirates. I never slept in any way.
I’ve already felt restricted as a tourist. Because religion also intervenes far into the “normal” life.
