Would that work?

I'm going on vacation soon, and of course I don't want to miss out on some training. I want to take my 20 kg dumbbell and pull-up bar with me. The dumbbell can be easily disassembled. However, the maximum weight for a suitcase is 23 kg. Can I put part of the dumbbell in my backpack? For example, 10 kg? You pack the backpack above you in these compartments anyway.

You need to get in touch with your airline. The hand luggage usually has a maximum weight (sometimes 8 KG). But that varies as I said. The next time you’re just looking for a hotel that has a gym, I always do, then you don’t have to worry about it. If you only flee for 1 week, you can do it without training or you can do exercises with body weight. In time, you will lose nix.

Okay, I understand. Then ask or the other options mentioned.

Before you try to pack something heavy in your baggage, why don’t you see if the hotel where you’re under might have a fitness room or if a fitness studio is nearby where you can buy access for the week?
If your training is so important to you, then next time I would be careful when booking and book accordingly something that a fitness studio offers.
Otherwise in a week maybe just another training? Jogging on the beach, swimming?

Sure. But I wouldn’t. Would perhaps take some tapes and work with own weight or with objects Otherwise, nix can take more in the suitcase
