Hello, I received a message on Discord from someone claiming to be from Steam Support. He said my account should be banned because I allegedly made illegal purchases. This whole situation seems very suspicious to me, especially since this conversation is taking place via Discord. Is this even real Steam Support, or are these people just trying to get into my account?

It’s never gonna call you an employee, not on Steam, or anywhere else to tell you you’re being banished.
If you are banished, the ban will come without any warning.
So you can press the person on Discord an insult of your choice and then block them.

The Steam Support will certainly not write to you about Discord. Not about Steam Chat, by the way. They don’t write you at all if you want to run your account, it’s just running. There was no warning.
