Authors spend most of the time of the day with writing.
There are different authors – who write to feeling and simply “plot”, so create a precise plan what should happen when and where. When the frame is finished, everything will be left to rest a few days or weeks before it is reworked again and again.

Hope that could answer your question.

I’m 16 and I’m just gonna get my second book out. I go to school in the morning (sometimes I have to run a few phone calls with my publishing house during school hours because they only opened until noon). After that I go home and learn. Later I write a few pages on my book.

When it comes to writing, I’ll take my laptop. I have planned the story I write in my head mostly rough until the end. Only small facts come through to write. I’ll write a chapter, and I’ll rework it. In moments when I just don’t think about writing, I’m revising some chapters. That was really rough.

In the morning half seven stand up, wash, dress, drink coffee, put to the typewriter (!!!!) – and then let come slowly. Every day about 100 lines. Edit, rework, rework… send to the publisher. Calling, listening to the oil, discussing. Curse, curse, curse. Put to the typewriter, rework, throw into the corner, curse, drink coffee, walk, curse. etc.

I think that is different for everyone – whether to find ideas or write the actual one. whether from hand or on pc. fast or slow. disciplined or spontaneous.

I think that you can’t say on a flat-rate basis. in most (auto)biographies of/transcription you can also find any quantity about the respective access to write. can make you smart with your favorite authors…

Idea, pen or typewriter, writing, send to the publisher.

Sounds funny, but it’s like that.

Writing in sitting?

Some also dictating in standing!

Oh, yeah, I’m still lying, I’m here all the time!

There is a comparison with the production of sausages. Once you’ve seen how the sausage is made, you’re not hungry anymore. This is similar to a novel – not particularly romantic.

Well, first you should consider what it should be about in the book, and then you create a concept, best with voltage curves. Then you write the book and send it to the publisher. Don’t forget to rework!
