What controls the fans?

Hey,

I've had my first PC for a few weeks now, and it performs well. I'm already playing games on it. What I still don't understand, however, is how my fans are controlled. I have four case fans and my CPU tower fan (Asus Tuf Gaming B650E Wifi motherboard). The PC, by the way, is self-built.

When setting up my PC, I installed Armoury Crate and let Fan Expert automatically generate some settings. So far, I don't understand whether AC controls everything itself or something else. Above all, I don't think AC is even running in the background. I'm worried that AC isn't giving me the right cooling.

Can someone please enlighten me?

The fans are preset in the BIOS, called fan curve. Then, for example, your CPU cooler will turn up 100% at 90°C temperature or the fan of your graphics card will start only at 50°C. Armoury Crate allows you to change these settings more intuitively, but above all adjust the RGB of the fans or let the fans turn up spontaneously. You do not need AC

Usually the fans are set in the BIOS.
