I find Oslo more beautiful. For Gothenburg, the longer course of the country speaks, in Oslo it is only about 4 hours. I would choose a trip with hotel stay in Oslo (can be booked completely through Colorline) it is worth it
I’d rather go to Oslo. I used to be there and I liked it very well. The city and also the people were great.
Goeteborg is for me a quite unattractive city. Oslo is clear and has a lot to offer for tourists without a long way.

Gothenburg is a bit too industrial to me. I like Oslo more.
Oslo can be reached with a beautiful ferry from Kiel. It is or was at least once the biggest ferry in the world.

Go to Gothenburg with Stena Line, to Oslo with Color Line, both from Kiel.
Both beautiful but Oslo is more beautiful.
Gothenburg is a little better for the wallet.
