Would you rather apply spontaneously or for a specific position?

Hello,

I'm currently in my second semester of my Wing program. Now I want to apply for a student job.

Is it a good idea to apply for a student job at a company on your own initiative or to apply specifically for a position?

For example, the company I want to apply to has a job opening in production engineering, but also one for an unsolicited application. Where would you apply?

I am interested in working in production.

Wouldn't it make sense for me to apply for both to maximize my chances?

Hi Kevka!

a lot of success in wing studies!

Basically, it is recommended that you focus on a specific position and then also send your letter of motivation to this position.

An own-initiative application is more recommended if there is no suitable place and you really have great interest in starting with the company. In these cases, you should also transfer it accordingly.

like this: direct application to specific position. :
