Would it be too much if your family doctor asked you something like that?
Hi, I just went to the doctor because I've been feeling really bad lately. I have constant circulatory problems, I'm constantly sick and exhausted. I've also lost 18 kilos in a month for no reason, and I have almost no immune system. That's how I feel. Everyone around me is worried because I'm obviously not feeling well.
So I went to the doctor who did a full blood count of me and the blood count was completely fine, nothing unusual.
Not only was I accused of malingering, my GP asked me whether I had taken anything and wanted to do a urine test straight away. Normally I wouldn't have anything against it, but I actually tried twice and couldn't pee. He then gave me a malicious grin and told me to go.
Is it just me or was that extremely disrespectful
I feel helpless, something is wrong with me and no one is helping me. There must be some reason.
A weight loss of 18 kg in a month is extreme. You have the right to a second medical opinion.
A large blood image consists of the small blood image with the values > haemoglobin, erythrocytes, leukocytes, thrombocytes, haematocrit and the differential blood image. In a differential blood image, the subspecies of the leukocytes are differentiated. All other laboratory parameters are not included in a large blood count.
Remote diagnosis is not possible, but the symptoms may indicate a CFS > chronic fatigue syndrome.
Happy for you!
You lost 18 kilos in 4 weeks?
Was a leg amputated on your hip?
If you really had lost 18 kilos in a month, you'd be in the hospital.
Hsbe but
Read for me so that you are in an extraordinary stress phase and that you are in a beginning, or just before a burn out.
If your home doctor does not recognize it or does not even consider it and submits BTM / drug abuse, then change the doctor. Maybe let a psychiatrist examine you.
Please change the doctor and let you re-examine who you obviously feel bad can be serious too
The doctor was simply very unprofessional which is not possible
If he doesn't take you seriously, just change the doctor. As long as you are helped
Yes, it's unbelievable, but it's all day-to-day that you're only poorly supplied in family doctors.
A blood image says only rough values .This means your organs work a lot well. And your blood is a bit ok.
The miserable thing is that at the end about your actual vital condition does not express much.
You can still have a severe vitamin deficiency, mineral deficiency /Essential fats etc .Leids.
Above all, such an unintentional weight loss would have to allow every doctor to obey.
➡️I would have Orthomolecular doctor search.
This is usually taken seriously and relevant values are measured.
