Would it be a good idea to fly to Mecca as a non-Muslim and would it be possible under my conditions?

I have a German passport and a foreign one in which “Islam” is listed as religion because that is mandatory. However, I don’t know much about Islam.

I am currently very interested in Islam and am on the path to learning more about it.

My questions to those who know:

Can I legally fly to Mecca?

Would it be a bad or good idea? (possible dangers)

As a non-Muslim you should not fly to Mecca by law. These places are not intended for tourism.

Apparently, some of them have done it anyway.

If Muslims are on your passport, you will be allowed. But as I said, these places are not meant for tourism. Any person entering the Haram District must automatically make the Umrah. That’s why you shouldn’t be Muslim.
