Working student + mini-job?

Good evening,

I have a quick question:

I am a student, we are currently on vacation until April, I work as a student employee 20 hours a week.

Am I allowed to work a mini-job during these holidays? So, working student + mini-job

If so, how will the taxes be deducted?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards

You can find information in studis-online.de under Money+BAföG ANNEX Study funding -> Jobben

The 20-hour limit applies only during the lecture period; otherwise valid: outside the lecture period Not more than 26 weeks more than 20 hours per week work…

The hour limit of 20 hours applies to all activities – but during the semester holidays (generally: lecture-free time) you can be employed over 20 hours.

The Minijob with flat-rate tax – then no taxes will be deducted or it does not have to be taxed by you.

Otherwise, if he with tax characteristics one of the two jobs will receive tax class VI (that should be the mini-job) – then the mini-job must also be taxed. Too much paid tax is then returned via the income tax return.

No, because then you should give up your student.
