How can you tell which chromosomes form a homologous pair? | Biology
Hey people,
How can you tell which of the individual chromosomes belong together to form homologous pairs?
Furthermore, is this a karyotype of a woman or a man?
Please note the photo!
Thanks!
You have to put together those who have the same band pattern. Also pay attention to the length of the p- and q-arms or the position of the Centromers. Then it would have to prove whether this is a man or a woman.
I always result in 2 equal pairs so it is a woman’s cryogram, or since the couples are always the same and represent XX chromsom, so to speak?
It doesn’t make sense, it’s written.
