How do I know which wheel lock I need?

As stated above, I am looking for a new rim lock (adapter/nut) because I can no longer find my old one.

No solution: do without a lock (because it's unnecessary and can still be stolen) or go to a dealer who will test out different ones.

Is there a way I can find out which one I need for my car (Golf 7 TSI Bluemotion 2015)?

The problem will have already solved for you, but for all those who (as I) only later encountered the problem are a solution thought around the corner:

For online retailers, there are also the rim lock keys in the set. With these offers you can see on the dealer photos how the individual nuts are shaped. In the set boxes there is the corresponding number next to each nut.

Take your rim lock and compare the shape with the nuts on the dealer photos. You can then see what nuts you need. Next, take the code that is in the set box next to the nut and then on the Internet search for exactly the single nut you need. (So I came to the matching nuts for my golf…)

You drive to the dealer to try out which wheel lock key fits and tell you the number, you notice it and then order the key with the same number on the Internet.

Yes, you’ll see what Felgenschlösser variants VW has delivered at that time and order a corresponding nut from each variant and test it through

If the rim lock has been delivered from work, then go to the VW dealer, who can sell you the right footage by means of chassis number. pure by looking at the screw

2015 rim lock no longer available in 2021?
What do you have for a VW dealer?

Just as a comparison: I once had a BMW Bj ’99 with rim lock, the right foot I could have ordered 14J later

Order that thing on the Internet if you’ve already found it

Then you have to see how you can pull yourself out of the affair.

And rim lock I find completely overcrowded, except you have SO rare rims, that someone has on their side. What a golf has on it can buy at every street corner for a Fuffi per wheel rim. The fact that DIE is stolen is more than unlikely

If you just drive to another dealer, and you just get a set of new screws and let them change!?

without rim lock well noted

I also threw out the locks at my present when I bought it (was also a used person)

You go to the tire service and buy them. They know that, otherwise length. Diameter, cone or ball collar.
