Hi, I want to oil my longboard wheels/ball bearings, but I don't want to buy some overpriced speed cream. So I'm wondering if there are any household oils that would be good for this? Thanks and best regards.

Loading...My mother saw an animal in our basement drain today. It threw itself against the grate several times to get out. She says it was an eel. Could it be that an eel (or perhaps another fish or snake) is swimming through the drain? There isn't much room in the drain. There's a basket inside…

Hey, I'm on summer vacation and I feel like I'm not spending enough time with friends. Only 2-3 times a week, and I think that's too little for a vacation. Do you go out with friends every day on vacation, or what's it like for you?
naja, du kannst dich halt entscheiden zwischen 3 verschiedenen möglichkeiten:
1. Silikonbasierte schmiermittel. das sind die “überteuerten” speedcreams die du ausschliesst, die sind natürlich mit das geeignetste für skate und longboard, weil sie kaum nachteile haben… ausser eben den preis.
2. Lagerfett: am langlebigsten, heisst du musst in der regel nur 1 mal im jahr schmieren, lagerfett gibt es eigentlich in jedem baumarkt und in den meisten größeren supermärkten. nachteil ist das sie von vorn herein nicht ganz ideal schmieren und eingefahren werden müssen.
3. Öl, am besten Kriechöl, um konkret mal eine marke zu nennen: WD40, das ist auch recht günstig, lässt sich leicht verteilen, schmiert sehr gut, muss nicht eingefahren werden, hält aber leider nur relativ kurz, das sollte man doch relativ regelmäßig erneuern.
joa… und haushaltsöle, sowas wie sonnenblumen öl kannst du logischerweise nicht nehmen, das verharzt dir die lager (aber ich hoffe mal dass du das auch nicht vorgehabt hast)… die meisten schmieröle sollten es auch tun, schau dich halt mal um was ihr da habt, ansonsten besorgst du dir einfach eine flasche wd40, das sollte eigentlich in keinem haushalt fehlen.
Hol Dir Wälz- oder Kugellagerfett, Öl läuft leider schnell davon! Optimal wäre dieses Fett mit Graphit zu Mischen! Beides im Baumarkt!
Kein Haushaltsöl nehmen.Erst die Lager komplett entfetten, dann kaufst Du dir Ballistol und sprühst die Lager damit ein.Es verharzt nicht,wie alle anderen Öle.
