Wolf vs Bitbull?

Saw a picture on the internet, maybe in Canada, a man was walking past a wolf enclosure with his Piti, the alpha wolf stood up and looked over with interest.

Somehow the thought occurred to me how this would have turned out without a fence, does the pit bull have a chance against the pack leader?

Is the wolf perhaps totally inferior, what do you think?

The North American wolf is a little bigger than ours, but it also means that it brings up a maximum of 45kg. An advantage over the short-haired Pitbull is the dense coat, especially on the collar where they like to go.

Even if the pitbull, if it is a very musculous animal, seems to be buzzing purely by force, the wolf as a wild animal still has the longer teeth and with which the canids usually fight.

In this way, the chances in the fight 1 against 1 for the wolf are better to teach the opponent serious injuries.

However, as is often the case, it also depends on who can land the best hits from the beginning.

We have, for example, a Jack Russel male from bad posture, with just 9kg at home. He doesn’t get involved with anyone, but the guy just bites bigger dogs right into the nose and then the thing actually ran.

This even works with ferret XD A dog owner didn’t want to hold his dog back even though I warned him that my ferret (Windy 300g hee) bites when it is crowded.

The dog has started the retreat after the little ones ^^^

It depends where the two meet each other. If the Pit alone and lost in the forest goes over the wolf, then it would be well superior to whether it is a competitor or a prey. He would also consider whether it is worth risking a fight. For the supreme law of wolves says they must not hurt themselves. A wounded wolf can’t hunt and must starve. If the wolf attacked the dog in the forest, he would notice after a few seconds that this opponent is not eating good cherries. If he doesn’t have the dog on the ground after a short time, he’d leave him and rather flee before he hurts. A wolf never fights groundless and if a fight doesn’t run as he imagines, then a quick retreat is the best option.

If the wolf can’t avoid the fight, like in a cage, the wolf would fight quite differently. He would use all that is available to him and with his size, weight, strength, bite, stamina and speed, he would be superior to the dog. His experience comes to that. He learned how to fight and how to kill quickly and effectively.

That’s exactly how I see it — wolves don’t attack without meaning!

Hello Walterherr

Well, if both of you hit each other, it’d probably crash….

I think if the fight would only take place between the two, the Pitbull would win.

LG.

I saw two dogs walking through a garden fence. They went side by side, along the fence and barked like there was no tomorrow. At once the fence was gone between them. The owner had left the gate open.

The dogs looked at and didn’t know what to do. They went on, and when fence was again between them, it went on, and begging teeth.

It would have been similar to the wolf. A fight always means danger of injury, which is why animals can avoid this so well they can.

It could have been that the wolf would have loved the dog. There have been more often, see the Wolf Romeo.

The question was actually “Wolf vs Pitbull” and then you come with this incredibly sweet story from Wolf Romeo! Just super! Thumb high!!!

A Pitbull is a strong dog with up to 30-40 kg, but an adult (lead)wolf, which is usually the greatest in the pack can go to the 80kg. Since Pitbulls are genetically but no longer active “fighting dogs”, it does not necessarily have to be sharp.

The wolf is somehow the neanderthal of the dog. Significantly stronger and more competitive. So the odds of the wolf are quite high. However, each battle is different and with only one indefinite, the piesbull can create a winning bite.

But I wouldn’t let it happen. The wolves crack bones with their teeth.

My experience of fighting and wildlife. Laity, but not unfounded.

Use the search function Google, to find posts on the web. Even here at GF the question appeared at least once. Even if I cannot understand why one asks this question.

The answer is that a pitbull has little chances against an adult healthy wolf. I hope you don’t think I have to post a proof video (as my last time). No beautiful sight for dog lovers.

Pubertarian half-strong wish-beers may think Pitbulls as unbelievable ”crace” dogs, but actually it’s totally love and friendly family dogs that wouldn’t lie with a wolf. And for good reason!

Unfortunately, not only in Germany:( there are also many areas where Pits are not allowed in the USA. Very sad…

A very good answer! From the basics, so-called “fight dogs” are very human. Unfortunately, however, I had to experience that deep in these dogs is still anchored to their original purpose. The Staffordshire Terrier of a friend bite into my dog (luckily it was just the ear). Somehow we could open his jaw, and my mixed man only suffered a little wound. The sad thing was above all that the Stafford didn’t want it, he was just jealous. But he got, unfortunately typical of this race, immediately a “maul lock”.

It’s right, it’s not by nature “Böse Bestien”, but unfortunately it’s also that many holders hold these dogs because they’re “cool”. And on the other hand there is the so-called “campus” fraction, which the animals “dedicate”. The fact is that you have to be aware of WAS for a dog and for what purpose they were once bred. Unfortunately, most people are not aware of this, and so sadly, tragic accidents are repeatedly occurring.

The Wolfsrudel is only getting out at fights

For strangers like the Pitt, 6-8 if no longer wolves

The leadwolf observed and on his sign comes the attack

A wolf, not even the largest in the world, would have a real chance against the Pitbull, because he does not respect his own injuries and is only concerned with his victim. The Pitbull, therefore, wasted with its heavy jaw force in the neck of the wolf and not even let go if the wolf had half-picked him, the pie could no longer be, even if he wanted to, because this does not allow the typical scourge of fighting dogs. The Pit would reach the percussion at some point (though thick wolf fur) and the fight would be over…

I think the wolf is still the stronger… at least the dogs come from the wolf! the dog will probably be more intimidated

The question does not arise because the Pitbull is facing the whole pack.

By the way, wolves should have a higher cosiness than they should be entrusted to them due to their narrow snouts.
