Sell caravan before re-registration?
Dear community, you probably know how high my risk is in the following situation:
I had bought a caravan from a dealer, registered it, and then returned it to the dealer, who has now resold it on my behalf.
Now the buyer wants to pick up the car tomorrow morning and drive it off the lot with my license plate and my insurance, because due to the coronavirus pandemic, there are no appointments available at the traffic department for re-registration in the next two weeks.
My question: What are my risks with this approach? What if the buyer continues to delay the change of registration?
It would be nice if I could get a short statement about this today before I go to the dealer tomorrow morning and hand over the vehicle registration document.
Best regards!
I don’t understand that now, the KH costs about EUR 15 for a year, the buyer also buys the insurance, so surely your agreements with your insurance. Just look into your documents or ask your onliner.
You’re out of there with the drive from the court.
Good business.
Written purchase contract, signed sales advertisements for the admission agency and insurance. And you’re out of the number.
I sold my hanger last year.
A criminal policeman has advised me of a registered sale.
Theoretically, a purchase contract is legally guaranteed. For the authorities, one is still the contact person in the case of verstössen. “We always have such cases on the table.” Trouble, explanations etc.
I checked it out and put the buyer on the same day. If this had not been done (have 2 buyers cancelled), the buyer must see how he does it. Trailers are coveted, you are on the longer lever.
