Where can I get the Samsung ML-1860 printer drivers for macOS Monterey?

According to the link for more information at https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1888?viewlocale=de_DE&locale=en_US , ML1860 is included. After installation, I only found entries for HP. Officially, I violate the requirements with macOS 12.5.

Are there other ways to get the driver?

Plug in printers via USB, then turn on, should normally be displayed in the “system settings” under “printer” after a few seconds.

Instaling an “Extra Driver” is normally not necessary.

No, he needs to be plugged directly on the Mac.

Theoretically, I’ve never tried that before.

In the case you have a Mac with M1 chip, it will not become anything via “routes”, the drivers are all for an Intel chipset.

Only drivers are offered to Mac OS 10.14

How old is the printer?

This will be because HP has taken over the Samsung printer range.

I don’t think I understood your problem yet. You look under Apple drivers and this is not where Samsung is offered but HP. Doesn’t the offered drivers work or what?

The software should automatically add the printer. I have another Monterey VM, I can try this tomorrow.
