Where on the IC does it say which seat is reserved?

I've taken the IC several times now and I just can't find a sign or something similar indicating when a seat is reserved. Is there no such thing and I'm just lucky/unlucky? Or am I just not finding it?

In the ICE there is a normal display above the seat…

Is displayed in the least ICs, if at all. This is due to the old car material, which simply has no electronic displays on or above the seats.

Aren’t you gonna put the reservations? In the two EC from Basel via Cologne to Hamburg with SBB-Wagen it is so.

Ne, that would be a huge act 😅 there would have to be updated after each stop the boxes, which the train attendants do not. Theoretically, of course, it would be possible

This varies depending on the vehicle. IdR is normal electrical displays.
