Where can you get the trumpet parts for famous pieces?

Explanation:
I've taken out my trumpet again and have been somewhat motivated since yesterday. Since I play in a brass band, I've been listening to a lot of music online, especially from the Hal Leonard Concert Band, Jacob de Haan, and others. We don't often play many of them, or they're not considered due to under-represented bands (I understand that).

So my question is: How could a private individual obtain such sheet music? Trumpet only, are there any legal gray areas due to copyright if I only use it at home?

That’s just an idea now, but you know a colleague who plays in a bigger orchestra – vllt are there the notes and you could “see”…

On the other hand, the publishers would have to be prepared to issue individual voices for small money due to the ban on copying. Something can be lost or swallowed at any time.

We have often reordered individual voices from the Halter Verlag – in the 70/80 the vote for 1.50 DM.
