You don’t need it. You just go to the ATMs near the border or in CH and pull the Franks there.
The house bank calculates this with the exchange rate and it is much cheaper than the grade rate.

Whoever changes cash is a dinosaur.

And how do you handle this if you still have varieties after your holiday?

I keep it as small as possible and keep it until the next trip.

Banks that have in stock have become rare. As a rule, you can order varieties from your home bank and pick up a few days later. You don’t need a card, but you should have an account there. A great exception is the travel bank, which specializes in trading varieties. You don’t need an account. The branch offices of the travel bank are usually located at airports and at some major stations. Close to borders or in tourist areas and large cities there are exchange offices. It is possible, however, not for sure to lift appropriate varieties.

Varieties are banknotes in foreign currencies.
