Learn to sew for the first time, then see on.

You don’t even learn how to sew. I was lucky to go to school from scratch. You start with small things and then develop the whole thing. And sewing a real garment already requires some skill. – Here in the forum and in general there is often the view that you can learn everything “time just” with YOUTUBE videos. It may be that there are talents that really do. But the larger part will eventually give up.

There are people who sell residual substances on eBay classifieds. Sometimes cheap; sometimes somewhat more expensive if it is good or patterned fabric. Just look.

and don’t you also think it might be a good thing at the beginning if you start with the hobby?!

No good tip, you have to see fabric before you buy it. Especially if you have no idea about it.

Just search for a fabric store or sewing shop nearby.
