What is the difference between Epot and Etage?

I'm currently studying for my physics assignment and thought potential energy, or potential energy, was abbreviated as Epot, but suddenly it's sometimes called Elage. Are these just two different ways of abbreviating it, or what?

Yes, there are two options. Finally, what is meant is important.

More common is Epot, I haven’t heard Elage yet (conscious). But most will know what is meant.

In my knowledge, potential energy is always an energy resulting from the position/spatial arrangement of particles. Whether energy of height (gravity to earth), tensioned spring (force between atoms in the spring) or electrically ( accumulation of geladan particles).

Situation energy = potential energy

There is no difference, as has been properly answered here

Of course it is the same, otherwise the = sign would be wrong.
