Where is the Bayern Ticket valid?

Hello, my girlfriend and I want to travel to Munich from Bregenz. Can I simply take the ÖBB train to Lindau and then from Lindau to Munich with the Bayern Ticket? Because then the entire trip for two people would cost less than 50 euros. Hence the question: Where is the Bayern Ticket valid?

The Bavarian ticket is valid as the name says in Bavaria. the ÖBB in Bavaria, when RE/RB you can drive with it. But not outside the border of the federal state.

From Bregenz to Lindau you need an ÖBB schedule, after which the Bayern ticket is valid from 9 a.m. on the trains of local transport. Nice ride.

A map of the scope can be found here: https://bahnland-bayern.de/de/ticket/bayern-ticket

From the direction of Bregenz it is valid from Lindau-Reutin. The route between Lindau and Memmingen is also included.

In Bavaria, this ticket does not apply to long-distance traffic.
